Enrollment Information

The following information/documents are needed from parent/guardian during registration:

1. Student's birth certificate
2. Social Security Card (optional)
3. Address Verification requirement (must have name of the parent/guardian)

a. Utility Bill (water, light, gas, or telephone)
b. Preprinted rent receipt with name of aprtment complex and lease/contract
c. Affidavit of Residence

4. Grade Placement - copy of last year's report card, TAKS, and Stanford scores.
5. Immunization Records (Approved by school nurse)
6. Has student been qualified for the following programs?

School Attendance Zone

Schools have defined attendance zones.  Based the student's home address, HISD assigns the student to a feeder pattern composed of a specific elemetary, middle and high school.  To know more about school attendance zones, click here.
