Dear Jackson Middle School Parents, I would like to introduce myself as the new principal of Jackson Middle School. I am the previous principal of a Gallegos Elementary. As the principal of Gallegos for 3 years, the school grew from an Academically Acceptable campus to an Exemplary campus. My goal is to make Jackson the school of choice for all East area students. To do this I will be inviting all parents to attend an expectations night in August for each grade level. This will be EXTREMELY important to attend as we will be discussing schedules, dress code and student code of conduct. Jackson Middle School is part of the Houston Independent School District (HISD). It caters to middle schoolers (Grades 6 to 8). We welcome you to our web site which reflects our pride and spirit. We hope that this will serve as a source of information about our beautiful school and its programs. |

 Summer School at Jackson Middle School runs from June 4 to July 10, 2009. It starts at 8:00am and ends at 3:30pm.
Free lunches are served for school aged kids. Click here for the menu. Students are encouraged to read at least 5 books to join the "Millionaire Club". |
